Clews Competition Motorcycles built its 500 motocross machines around the BSA B50 engine, developed further and hung in a frame of its own. That shared origin is the whole story when you go looking for parts: a great deal of what a CCM needs is B50, and the rest emphatically is not.

CCM and the B50
The B50 engine came out of the BSA unit single line and went into the B50MX, the B50T and the B50SS, and from there into the CCM 500 motocrossers. Engine internals largely correspond. Frames, exhaust systems and much of the cycle side do not.
What we stock
- Gaskets and seals: head, base and rocker box gaskets, oil seal and thrust washer sets
- Top end: pistons in standard and oversize, camshafts, pushrods
- Gearbox and clutch: mainshaft gears, clutch centres, kickstart quadrants
- Exhaust and hardware: high-level exhaust pipes, stainless fastener kits
Gaskets in particular
Gasket sets are the CCM item we are asked for most, and we hold them for the B50 engine in its several forms. If you need one gasket rather than a full set, tell us which and we will look.
