Lucas Motorcycle Electrical Parts
Lucas supplied the electrics for most of the British motorcycle industry, which means a Lucas part number will often get you further than the make of the bike. Regulators, advance units and stators wear out on a schedule of their own, quite separately from the engine in front of them.

Charging and ignition
The parts asked for most here are the regulators and the auto advance units. We hold RB108 regulators in both 6 and 12 volt form, original type and replica, and the MCR2 6 volt dynamo regulator. Advance units cover several Lucas numbers including 47502, 47503 and 54419344, the last in a 12 degree version.

Where the rest is filed
Magnetos and magneto chain covers are listed under the marque they came off rather than under Lucas, so look under Norton or the relevant model. The same goes for the Triumph triple wiring harnesses and the ignition pick-ups for Weslake and NRE engines, which are listed under both.
