Norton Model 19 Parts & Spares
The Model 19 is the large-capacity member of Norton’s pushrod single range, and it shares that range’s one great advantage for anyone restoring one: gearbox, cycle parts and much of the running gear are common to machines that were built in far greater numbers. Work out which family a component belongs to and the parts hunt gets considerably shorter.
We hold Norton single stock at Obsolete Bike Parts across the ES2, the Model 18, the Model 50 and the 16H as well as the 19, so a part that looks missing here is often sitting one page away.
Rigid or swinging arm?
The 19 was built in both rigid and swinging-arm frames, listed as the 19R and the 19S, and that one difference decides a large part of what you can order. Rear frame, suspension, mudguarding and the hardware around them do not interchange between the two. Engine and gearbox are the easier side of the job. If you are not certain which frame is in front of you, a photograph from the side together with the frame number will settle it in a single message.
What we hold
- Engine — pistons and rings, valves and guides, gaskets, pushrod and rocker parts
- Transmission — gearbox components, clutch parts, sprockets and chains
- Ignition and charging — magneto and dynamo parts, lighting, wiring
- Chassis — brake components, fork parts, control cables, fasteners
Look under the sister models too
Our Norton single stock is spread across several model pages, and something that suits the 19 may well be listed under one of the others. Send the frame and engine number if you would rather we did that searching than you did.
