Triumph X75 Hurricane Parts & Spares
The Hurricane is the odd one out among the triples: a styling exercise that reached production, with its own glassfibre tank and seat unit and a three-pipe exhaust stacked down one side. Underneath the bodywork it is largely BSA A75, which is good news when you are looking for mechanical parts and awkward news when you are not.
We supply the Hurricane from the triples range as a whole. Engine, gearbox and electrical components are on the shelf in the usual way; the bodywork and the exhaust are where the model stands alone.
What is Hurricane and what is A75
The frame, the engine and the gearbox follow BSA A75 practice with the cylinders inclined forward, so most of what goes inside the motor is ordered as an A75 or triples part. The tank and seat moulding, the seat, the exhaust system and the smaller trim items belong to the Hurricane alone and were made in very small numbers. Knowing which side of that line a part falls on saves a lot of fruitless searching.
Parts groups we cover
- Top end — pistons and rings, valves and guides, gasket sets, rocker components
- Carburation — Amal parts, jets and linkages
- Ignition and charging — ignition components, alternator parts, switchgear
- Transmission — clutch, gearbox internals, sprockets and chains
- Cycle parts — brake components, fork and shock parts, fasteners
Bodywork and trim
We do not pretend to hold the rare Hurricane-only mouldings as a matter of course. Tell us what is missing and we will say straight away whether it is something we can find or something you are better off chasing through an owners register. A plain answer is more use to you than an optimistic one, and it costs you less time.
