Classic Motorcycle Mudguards & Fenders

Mudguards are the first thing corrosion takes and close to the last thing anybody manages to find. They were pressed in steel or rolled in alloy, drilled for stays, lamps and number plates in patterns that shifted with the model year, and a replacement of the right profile with the wrong drilling still leaves work on the bench.

Here you will find front and rear guards, stays, brackets and the fixings that go with them, for the machines in our catalogue and for the sidecars we supply.

Profile, width and drilling

Three things decide whether a guard fits, and none of them is the model name. The profile has to follow the radius of the wheel you are running, which is why a guard cut for a nineteen-inch front sits badly over an eighteen. The width has to clear the tyre section you have chosen rather than the one the factory fitted. And the drilling has to line up with your stays, lamp bracket and plate. Where a guard comes undrilled we say so on the listing, and on an altered machine that is usually the better starting point.

What we stock

  • Front mudguards — steel and alloy, in road and competition profiles
  • Rear mudguards — road and competition patterns
  • Stays and brackets — front and rear, with their fixings
  • Sidecar mudguards — for the chairs we supply

Tell us the wheel

Send the rim size and tyre section you are running together with the model. Those two numbers settle most fitment questions before they turn into a return.
