BSA B34 Parts & Spares

The B34 is the 500 among BSA’s B-series competition singles, the bigger brother of the 350 B32 and a close relative of the roadgoing B33. That family resemblance is what you work with in practice: engine components are regularly listed for B33, M33 and B34 together, and Gold Star items turn up in the same breath.

We hold B34 components across the engine, transmission and running gear at Obsolete Bike Parts, in original, NOS and selected reproduction, shipped worldwide from our workshop in the Netherlands.

Which B34 do you have?

Settle first whether the machine is a standard B34 or one built up toward Gold Star specification, because Gold Star items are listed separately here and not all of them suit a standard engine. The second question is what is actually in the frame. B-series singles have been rebuilt out of one another for decades, so the engine number and the frame number can tell two different stories. Read both before ordering.

What we stock

  • Top end — inlet and exhaust valves with guides, piston ring sets
  • Clutch — friction plate sets including Surflex, and clutch cables
  • Transmission — engine sprockets, kickstart shafts, ratchets and levers
  • Brakes — Ferodo and Fibrax front wheel lining kits, QD hub bearing sets
  • Front end — hard chrome fork stanchions supplied with bushes and seals

Ask before you order

Send your frame and engine number and say whether the bike is built as a roadster or to competition specification. If a previous owner left the old part in the box, a photograph of its number helps more than any description. We would far rather check a part number than take a part back.
