Norton Commando 750 Parts & Spares
The 745cc Commando took the pushrod twin design it inherited from the Atlas, already old in 1968, and made it work by hanging the whole engine and gearbox on rubber. Get the Isolastic set-up right and it is one of the smoothest big British twins ever built. Get it wrong and you feel every mile of it.
At Obsolete Bike Parts we stock nearly 200 line items for the 750 Commando, covering Fastback, Roadster, Interstate, Hi-Rider and the S-type, in original, NOS and quality reproduction.

750 or 850?
The 750 ran from 1968 to 1973 before the 828cc 850 replaced it. Many cycle parts and electrical components carry across, but engine internals, Isolastic details and gearbox parts often do not. If you are working from a bike with a mixed history, send us the numbers rather than guessing.
What we stock
- Engine — pistons and rings, valves and guides, gasket sets, oil system parts
- Isolastic — mountings, bushes, spacers and head steady components
- Transmission — clutch, gearbox internals, sprockets, chains
- Electrics — Lucas ignition, charging and lighting, switchgear, wiring
- Cycle parts — brakes, forks, shocks, cables, fasteners
Restoring rather than repairing?
Tell us the specification you are aiming for. We can often point you at the correct-period part rather than the one that simply bolts on. We also carry Norvil components and the wider Norton range.
