Velocette Parts & Spares

Velocette built in small numbers and built carefully, and the result is a marque where the parts are specific, the owners are well informed and a wrong component is obvious the moment it comes out of the box. Our Velocette shelf reflects that. It is not a complete factory range and we would not claim otherwise, but what sits on it has been identified properly.

Expect valve gear, induction parts, wheels and hubs, bars and the small fittings that go missing. Where we can place a part to a model we say which, and where a component reached us without a reference we describe it rather than guess.

Which Velocette?

The range divides further than most. The pushrod singles run from the Viper and the MSS up to the Venom and the Thruxton at the top of it, and the overhead-camshaft KSS is a different engine altogether rather than a tuned version of the others. Alongside them sat the LE, a water-cooled flat twin sharing almost nothing with the singles, and the lightweights built around it. A part described for a Venom is not a Thruxton part by default, since the Thruxton carried its own head and induction arrangement. The engine number is what places yours.

What we hold

  • Valve gear — inlet and exhaust valves, guides and valve spring sets
  • Induction — manifolds, Thruxton pattern among them, and carburettor fittings
  • Wheels and brakes — full-width hub wheels and brake components
  • Controls — handlebars, levers, cables and grips
  • Service items — gaskets, seals and fasteners

Ask with the number

Velocette references are short and distinctive, and most of our listings carry them. Send the one from your parts book or off the old component and we will match it rather than work from a model name.
