BSA Triple Parts & Spares
Almost everything in this section carries two names. The A75 Rocket 3 shares its engine with the Triumph T150, T160 and X75, and the components that wear are listed for all of them at once: pistons, tappet blocks, pushrod tubes, valve springs and big-end shells. Where the two marques separate is the frame, the oil tank and the exhaust system.
This term gathers the triple components we hold at Obsolete Bike Parts, including the ones you need three of, in original, NOS and selected reproduction.
Shared or BSA only?
The quickest rule is that engine internals cross over and bodywork does not. A piston, a ring set, a tappet block or a set of cylinder head studs will usually be listed for BSA and Triumph together. A battery carrier, a brake plate or a wheel rim is worth checking against the machine, because the BSA frame puts those things in different places. Every listing here names the models a part suits.
Triple parts groups
- Pistons — standard and oversize pistons with matching ring sets
- Valve gear — tappet blocks, cam followers, pushrod tubes, valve spring sets
- Bottom end — big-end shells in standard and undersize
- Clutch and kickstart — clutch covers, hub pullers, kickstart shaft assemblies
- Ignition — Boyer electronic ignition kits for the triples
- Cycle parts — brake plates, hubs, rims, battery carriers, cylinder head studs
Order in threes
Pistons, rings, tappet blocks and valve springs all go three at a time, and the quantity on a listing is not always a full set. Ask us to confirm what you are getting before you book the engine in.
